This gallery shows a selection of paintings done in the past. A real mixture of subjects and approaches.
The beauty of flowers seems to take hold of many artists and I am no different. Look here if they interest you too.
This is where you will find paintings with a musical theme. They started with a cello painting I did as a commission and then because I enjoyed the subject matter so much, it grew into a series that is ongoing.
This gallery contains work from my series based on the Kimono shape and other print making using the same process. These are not reproductions but hand pulled prints made with a press. To understand the collagraph printmaking process read about it here
There is something very exciting and dramatic about black and white. In this gallery you will find work based on real objects and from the imagination, or free form drawings.
The figure is extremely challenging to paint and draw and provides subject matter for a lifetime of study.
Sculpture is another medium I really love. There is something wonderful about working in clay. I have also done works in wax which were then cast in bronze. The pictures in this gallery are quite old and some of the few pictures of my work that I have left after our house burnt down in November 1999 and destroyed my work and most of my photo records.
This gallery features some recently completed paintings and collagraph prints. I usually show my latest work first on my blog. Visit www.nonakedwalls.blogspot.com
